Parking at St Michael's


We have a small car park adjacent to St Michael's and there is roadside parking (subject to restrictions on Mondays to Fridays 9-10am and 1-2pm) in Sir Walter Raleigh Drive.
Approaching from the west (A127) - exit the A127 at the Fairglen junction (A1245/A130 signposted Chelmsford and Canvey Island) and turn left (north) onto the A1245. At the next roundabout (Carpenter's Arms) turn right (east) onto the A129 towards Rayleigh. After approximately 1 mile Sir Walter Raleigh Drive is on the left. St Michael's church is on the left (opposite Sweyne Park School playing fields.)
Approaching from the north (A130) - exit the A130 at the Rettendon Turnpike junction and head south on the A1245 towards Rawreth, and then on towards the roundabout (Carpenter's Arms), Turn left onto the A129 towards Rayleigh. After approximately 1 mile Sir Walter Raleigh Drive is on the left. St Michael's church is on the left (opposite Sweyne Park School playing fields.)
Approaching from the centre of Rayleigh - head towards Rayleigh railway station (via London Hill, Crown Hill, or Love Lane) and at the bottom of London Hill head under the railway bridge on the A129 west. Sweyne Park school is visible on the right and Sir Walter Raleigh Drive is the next turning on the right. St Michael's church is on the left (opposite Sweyne Park School playing fields.)
