Holy Trinity

the one at the top of the hill

Our 9.30am Sunday service meets in the Parish Centre, Rectory Garth, SS6 8BB. This alternates with a more traditional (1st and 3rd Sundays) and more informal theme (2nd and 4th Sundays). The service usually lasts for around an hour. Please see the newssheet (linked on the homepage) or the Calendar for more details.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month there is 9.45am Café Worship in the Main Hall (running in parallel with the 9.30am morning service in the church). Café Worship is a place, a time, a family meeting to hear the good news of Jesus and to share the love of God. It is not just a style of church, and it is not all about singing. We come and meet each other as we meet and come to know God. We will all leave with a gift from Him for ourselves, our family, friends, neighbours, classmates or colleagues. It may be encouragement, a song, an idea, a prayer, a word, an action, a message, that the Holy Spirit will help us shine into the world. Come to Café Church and find your takeaway.

At least once per month (normally the first and third Sundays) at 8am there is a said Book of Common Prayer (BCP) Communion service. Each Wednesday at 10am there is a said Communion Service (with alternating Common Worship and BCP forms). We encourage people to wear a face covering unless exempt. We ensure adequate ventilation and accommodate social distancing for those who prefer it in all our services.

On the fourth Sunday of the month we have started a Fourth Sunday Special service in Holy Trinity Church at 6.30pm for a time of informal worship and prayer. The service will be very relaxed and include some old favourite worship songs as well as a few new ones and an opportunity for prayer activities. The next one is on Sunday June 26th at 6.30pm.
