The Notice of Renewal of the Roll 2025 appeared on Tuesday 11th March 2025.
The renewal begins on Sunday 13th April 2025 and finishes on Friday 25th April 2025.
The electoral roll is a statutory list that enables voting at the church Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and enables those that live outside the ecclesiastical parish to vote at the Annual Meeting of Parishioners (AMP) which elects churchwardens.
The Electoral Roll reflects in part our adult membership (although some church attenders are not on the roll) but it excludes clergy.
Anyone who qualifies can join the Electoral Roll (needs to be 16 or over - if you are nearly 16 contact me, baptised and able to declare they are a member of the Church of England or a similar church that believes in the Trinity, and either lives in the ecclesiastical parish - check the shaded area to see if it includes your home - or has worshipped regularly with us for at least the last 6 months)
If you wish to complete a paper copy of the electoral roll application form they can be obtained for each church at every service between April 13th and April 25th. These forms are on white paper. They can also be obtained from the Parish Office, welcome desk and church open teams during this period.
Prefer to do things digitally?
You can download the paper version to print and complete.
Even more digitally you can download a PDF which you can complete in a PDF program (Adobe Acrobat is ideal) and save locally and then email - don't use the send feature within Adobe as that seems to send a blank form! (see below).
However you complete the form, it needs to be returned by 8pm on Friday April 25th to
Ian Gale (Electoral Roll Officer) via the Parish Office or by email (scanned copy or digital copy) to er@parishofrayleigh.org.uk
As a totally separate initiative we are proposing a Parish Directory where adults involved in Holy Trinity and St Michael's who are happy to share contact information with each other.
If you wish to complete a paper copy of the Parish Directory application form they can be obtained for each church at every service from April 13th. These forms are on salmon paper. They can also be obtained from the Parish Office, welcome desk and church open teams.

You can download the paper version to print and complete.
Even more digitally you can fill in the form below and submit.
While there is no strict time limit on completion of the Parish Directory form we hope to publish by the APCM and AMP on May 11th to those who have submitted by the end of April.
